Wendy Padbury, actress aged 22 years old, but doesn t look it
Wendy Padbury, actress aged 22 years old, but doesn t look it, and thats her problem. For she not only keeps being offered juvenile parts, but she also has quite a job in finding clothes to fit her.
Wendy is five feet tall and has a twenty-one-inch waist.
Her size hasn t done her career any harm, however, she has been appearing in the Southern TV childrens series, The Freewheelers, which has just finished, and recently made an appearance in Z Cars.
Wendy is now in rehearsal for a new Granada play called Seasons of the Year.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the youthful beauty of Wendy Padbury, an actress who defies her age. At just 22 years old, she possesses a timeless elegance that belies her tender years. However, this seemingly eternal youth poses a unique challenge for Wendy as it hinders her from obtaining more mature roles in the acting industry. Not only does she continue to be offered juvenile parts, but finding clothes that fit her petite frame is also quite the task. Standing at five feet tall with a twenty-one-inch waist, Wendy's diminutive size hasn't hindered her career progression. She has recently concluded her appearance in the Southern TV children's series, The Freewheelers and even made a notable guest appearance in Z Cars. Currently engaged in rehearsals for Granada play called Seasons of the Year, Wendy continues to showcase her talent and versatility. The photograph was taken on March 1st, 1971 at Daily Mirror Studio in London by renowned photographer Freddie Reed.
